A snug little cove between Goodmans Island and Richards Island, two islands that form part of the enclosure around Barrow Harbour. As far as is known, HANCOCK is the only family to have resided here permanently(1840s - 1920s). The cemetery is at the eastern end of Goodmans, among a grove of evergreens. In September 1999 there were two marble headstones with writing, one small marble marker with no inscription and six slate slabs stuck on end with no inscriptions. The two inscribed were as follows: In Stephen Memory son of of Eli & Jane VICTOR HANCOCK HENCOCK Died Jan. 15, 1906 Died Oct. 29, 1915 Aged 17 years Age 1 month
