Although the following is by no means complete. It is what was transcribed during the summer of 1999. With future visits, it is hoped that this file will be updated. Both the "old" and "new" cemetaries (as they are known) are located on the island between the communities of Ireland's Eye and Black Duck Cove and were served by St. George's Church. Surnames include: TOOP,TOOPE, HODDER, COOPER, KELLEY, IVANEY, IVANY, COLLINS, PAUL,WATTON and LODER. The old cemetery was opened in the 1850s and is actually located on Black Duck Cove Hill between the communties of Ireland's Eye and Black Duck Cove. It was closed in 1918. A new cemetery was opened in 1919 and is located in Black Duck Cove. Its life ended with resettlement in 1965. Both of these cemeteris served the Anglican Church of Ireland's Eye and all communities on Ireland's Eye Island ( Ireland's Eye, Black Duck Cove, Traytown, Ivanhoe, and King's Cove). A third cemetery was opened at Ivanhoe / Traytown for these communities in the early 1950s and ended resettlement in 1964. It served St. Nicholas Anglican Church there,
