The following inscriptions are found on gravestones located on Northern Gooseberry Island, Bonavista Bay. Gooseberry Island is located approximately one mile north of St. Brendan's Island.
A small "tickle" separates North and South Gooseberry Islands.
This cemetery is situated on the southern end of the island, at the water's edge.
Inscriptions were recorded Oct. 13, 1990
by Wayne Pike,
