ERRATA
NAME	DESCRIPTION OF ERROR	REPORTED BY
HAUSE, Family *1	I notice that Arthur House, who had been seconded by DOSCO (Mining Co. on Bell Island) around 1910-11 to go and organize/manage a limestone quarry on the Port au Port Peninsula. He chose "Jack of Clubs Cove", for the site and renamed it "Aguathuna", His family is the first on the 1921 Census for Aguathuna. However, the family name is written as HAUSE. It should read HOUSE. You will notice that Arthur was born on Pool's Island, Bonavista Bay, 1875. His wife was Mary Anne Connelly, who was born at Trinity, in 1876. Arthur House chose the name "Aguathuna" over Jack of Clubs Cove, because it would look better on business contracts. It is an Indian word meaning "white rock". The only decendant I know living in the area,today is Arthur's grandson, Charlie House, who was a son of Leonard House, the first child born to Arthur and Mary after they moved off Bell Island to the Port au Port Peninsula .
