Patrick Keough ------ to -------- John Keough Memorial of a Deed bearing date at Bonavista the Twenty fourth day of June one thousand eight hundred and forty sis whereby Patrick Keough of Bonavista Dealer and Chapman for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty pounds current money of this Island when in hand paid the receipt whereof is acknowledged and also the consideration of the further sum of Fifty Quantals of marketable fish to be delivered by the said John Keough on or before the First of September then next ensuing Did grant bargain sell release and confirm unto his son John Keough the one half of the Fishing Premises Dwelling House and Stores situated on the Beach at Bonavista now in the occupancy of the said Patrick Keough and being the Southern part then of also one half of his Plantation situate at Beaver Pond near Bonavista and constituting the Southern portion thereof and all the estate right to the interest property to claim and demand whatsoever both at law and in equity of him the said Patrick Keough of in and to the same Witness Geo. Alexander - Thos. Gaylor - Hereby Certify
that the execution of the Deed of which the foregoing is a Memorial was
acknowledged before me by Patrick Keough early thereto on the Twenty
eighth day of September one thousand eight hundred and forty six. And the
same is hereby actually Registered by me this day. Given under my hand
this nineteenth day of December one thousand eight hundred and forty six
