Know all men by these presence that I Henry Handcock of Kings Cove in Bonavista Bay in the Island of Newfoundland where and in consideration of the sum of three hundred & ninety four pounds , twelve shillings, & nine pence to me in hand paid. The receipt whereof I herebye acknowledge have bargained and sold by these presents. Do bargain and sell to Richard Handcock of Kings Cove aforesaid all my plantation or fishing room situated in Kings Cove with my boats skiffs nets and all kind of other craft houses and gardens with every other thing that I am in possesion of at the time legalising of this bill of sale . To hold the said bargained premises he and his heirs forever or until I the said Henry Handcock pay unto Richard Handcock the above mentioned sum at which time every article above mentioned is to be given up to me again in its present state. I do hereby certify that this Bill of Sale was executed in my presence on the above date as witness my hand Recorded at the request of Richard Handcock on the 23 day of December 1814 Gerard Ford Surrogate & Magistrate
