KNIGHT, Brian
Passed on: November 22nd, 2015
Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, 22 Nov 2015 in the presence of family and friends, Brian Philip Knight "BIM", aged 62 of Moreton's Hr. Predeceased by his father (Tom) and mother (Margaret). Leaving to mourn his loving wife Aurora, daughter Patricia (Steve Gill), sister Sandra (Georges Erasmus), brothers Ted (Anne Marie) and Ken (Glenice), nieces and nephews, a long list of relatives and close friends, and beloved pets Pretty Bird, Pepper, Becka and Gizmo.
Cremation has taken place at Barrett's Funeral Home, St. John's (www.barretts.ca). A memorial service to be held in Moreton's Hr. Date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA, Gander, NL.
Rest well, Bim. You will be sadly missed.
WHITE, William
Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre, Botwood, NL on November 17, 2015 William (Bill) Joseph White at the age of 73 years. Bill was raised in Norris Arm, NL. Throughout his life, with the exception of his love of flying, all his defining passions centered around working hard, being committed, reliable, responsible and taking care of his family, employees and those he considered his closest friends. Central Ready Mix and Central Precast stand today as a testament to his vision and life's journey. He was predeceased by his parents Bertram & Susan, and brother Jim. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Linda White; daughter Shelley (Greg) Woolfrey of Grand Falls-Windsor; son Stephen of Norris Arm; brothers: Jerry (Hilda), Tom (Joanne) both of Gander, NL, Jack (Ann), Frank, Pat (Florence), Reg all of Norris Arm, NL; sisters: Betty (Herbert) Saunders, Loretta (Frank) Beaton, Annette (Bruce) Brown all of Norris Arm, NL; grandchildren Jordan and Alex Woolfrey, Keegan White, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place on Friday November 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Norris Arm. In keeping with William's wishes cremation to follow and interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Lionel Kelland House Hospice in trust to Rotary Club of Grand Falls-Windsor, P.O.
