Passed away on May 17th, Mrs. Winnie Ball of Stanhope, age 82 years. The funeral service was held on Sunday, May 21st at 2:00 pm from the Pentecostal Church, Stanhope. As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully accepted.
Obituary:
Eliza Ann Ball, commonly known as 'Winnie' was born at Stanhope on Sept. 17, 1923 to David and Eliza Ball. On May 15, 1947. she married Samuel Ball also of Stanhope. Together they raised four children, two daughters and two sons. On May 17, 2006. "Aunt Winnie", as she was affectionately known, passed suddenly into the presence of her Lord whom she loved and served since she gave her heart to Him at the age of fifteen. She was predeceased by her parents, one sister, one brother, two step-sisters, three step-brothers. She leaves to mourn her loving husband. Samuel Ball; daughters. Jean Janes (Levi), Ladorma Clarke; sons, Malcolm Ball (Mae). Leon Ball, one sister. Myrtle Cole; two brothers. Fred Ball (Grace) and GnrScnd Bail (Miirid); nine grandchildren aha four great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends.
