Ford, Dorothy Myrtle-The peaceful passing of Dorothy Myrtle Ford of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Paradise Villa. Born on May 27, 1923 in St. Anthony, NL, she was the daughter of the late Adjutant Samuel Ford and late Adjutant Elizabeth (Dawe) Ford of the Salvation Army of Canada. Dorothy was educated at Memorial University and served a life-long career as a school teacher.
Dorothy is pre-deceased by her sister, Vera White; and survived by niece, Elizabeth "Betty" Warr (Donald); nephews, Ralph White (Barabara), Roger White, Carl White (Marina), Duncan White (Susan), and Darroch White (Tamara); grand nieces and nephews, Catherine VanEsbroeck (Jeremy), Aaron Warr, Jillian Warr, April White (Paul), Ashley White, Michael White, Edward White, and Melanie White, and extended family, Evone White, Edward and Dorothy Slaney.
A Memorial Service took place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Chris Bennett officiating. Audrey Thompson (Osmond) - Passed away peacefully after a short illness at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Monday, June 8, 2015 - age 72. Predeceased by her father Willis Freake, mother Alma Freake, husbands Louis Osmond and Robert Thompson, and brother-in-law Lee Blondin. Left to mourn with loving memories are her sons John Osmond of Toronto, ON and James Osmond (Inga) of Lake City, FL, USA; daughter Jennifer Campbell (Nicholas) of Southampton, Bermuda; brother Lloyd Frake (Faith) of Moncton, NB; sister Linda Gaye Blondin of Twillingate, NL, and a large circle of relatives and friends.
