LODER, Raymond C.
On the morning of August 20, 2002 Raymond Cambridge Chesley
Loder, age 61, was called home by his Heavenly Father after a long struggle
with Oculopharyngeal Muscular Dystrophy. Raymond was born August 18, 1941 in
North Harbour, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland and passed away at the Continuing
Care Unit at the Northern Lights Regional Health Care Centre in Fort McMurray,
Alberta. Raymond was predeceased by his daughter (Bernadine), father Alexander,
mother Gladys and sister Francis. Raymond leaves behind his wife of 41 years
Hilda, 3 sons and their wives and children, Derek (Diane) Clayton and Arron,
Dexter (Dion), Brittany and Blake, Danny (Tanya), McKayla and Merissa. Also
brother Angus Loder (Evelyn), sisters Irean Green, Gritude March, Yvonne Hillyard
(Nelson) and brother-in-law Clayton Barrett (Francis). Along with brothers
and sisters-in-law Clarence Smith (Peral), Jenny Parson (Alec), Lloyd Smith
(Patsey), Alonzo Smith (Carrie), Pastor Lewis Smith (Bernice) and Dorothy Snook
(Allen) and 29 nieces and nephews. Raymond leaves behind special family friends
Clarence and Ruth Stacey, Dave and Thelma Perry, Marlene, Kristen and Jenna
Brenton, Paul King, Vic and Gertie Kays. Viewing will be held at 7-9pm on Friday,
August 23 at The Pentcostal Assembly of Fort McMurray, 160 Dickins Drive. Funeral
Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, August 24 at the same location. Officiated
by Pastor Glen Forsberg of McMurray Gospel Assembly. Internment following service
at Abasand Cemetary. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the
Raymond Loder Memorial Fund.
