Mildred Louise Simmons (nee Hynes)
, formerly of Labrador City and Lewisporte, passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, October 23 at 9:28 p.m. in the presence of her loving family. She was 83. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Augustus Simmons; her 6 daughters: Una Millls (Scott); Joyce Ryan; Juanita Learning (David); Louise Roy; Cathy Bluer (Frank) and Jo-Ann Nicolle (Chad); her 3 sons: Eugene (Mary); Terry (Natasha); Gary (Sue); her 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and a special member of the family, Mabel Simmons. Funeral service was held at The Salvation Army Citadal in Campbellton, NL on Thursday, October 27 at 2 p.m. Donations in her name can be made to the St. Patrick's Mercy Home Foundation of St. John's, NL. Funeral arrangements were made by Woolfrey's Funeral Home of Lewisporte.
