Doris Josephine Myers (nee Hunt), formerly of Bell Island, NL, passed away peacefully at home in Labrador City June 14, 2013 in her 94th year. Doris is predeceased by husband Patrick and son-in-law Ron Brophy. She is survived by children Anna Brophy, St. John's, Brian (Jenny), Moncton, John (Joan), Elliston, Mary Jacobs (Bob), Stephen (Lynn), Anita Robertson (Andrew), Labrador City, Patricia (Nick Potter), Ottawa, Paula Larocque (Sylvain), Thorold, Blair (Lorna), New Glasgow, special niece Mary McLean, Bell Island, 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 15 at Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Labrador City. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. The Myers family would like to send our appreciation and thanks for the kindness and support we received from our many friends and a personal thank you to Dr. Arsenault and his staff for their care and concern.
