Newfoundlanders on the HMS Cavina This picture was taken in 1941 on board the HMS Cavina on a Sunday after mass. The men are all Newfoundlanders. In the middle of the back row is Austin O'Brien, my grandfather. Here is a list of the people and where they were from. My grandfather still remembers them all almost 60 yrs later!
