Jamestown c1916
A photo of my great-grandmother Rebecca Wells with
two of her grand daughters, Nellie & her older sister Mary.
Their parents were Henry Thomas Wells & Tryphena Chaulk.
This photo was taken at Rebecca's home in Jamestown,
Bonavista Bay about 1916.
Rebecca was born in 1845 at
Keels, Bonavista Bay.
Her parents were Thomas & Mary
Turner
of Keels.
She was first wed to Joseph Moss by whom
she
had
four daughters.
When Joe Moss died, she wed my
great-grandfather Robert Wells.
They had two sons,
Henry Thomas ( my grandfather) & Joseph Wells.
