Grand Bruit
![]() |
Coal from Cape Breton, burning in the kitchen range, was the main source of Winter heat for the homes of Grand Bruit. The coal came by schooner in the late Summer and was carried to storage sheds in barrels on "hand bars". I took this photo in August of 1964. Contributor: Fred Ingram |
