Mining Fatalities

"Mining Horror - Further particulars of the fatal accident which occurred at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Bell Island,
was received in town this morning. Widows and fatherless children are
left to mourn the loss of their sole providers."

Articles like this one appeared in the local newspapers all the time. Everyday at the mines seem to bring
an accident of some sort, most of the time causing death to the men that worked in or around the mines.
The following is a list of some of those men who died on the job.
