(from The Fisherman's Advocate, January 29 to March 5, 1965)
These articles, written by James Ivany, were serialized in 6 parts and published in The Fisherman's Advocate in early 1965. It contains genealogical information on the Barrett and Cooper families and the Cooper family coat-of-arms. It then follows the Cooper family, from the arrival of Charles in St. John's to Absalom's settlement in Englewood, ending with a picturesque description of the long-abandoned community of Bluff Head Cove. |
