my name is ron smith and i am looking fir information on my great grandfather benjamin smith of gooseberry cove trinity bay.so far i know that him and his brothers moved from bishops cove conception bay and moved to chance cove trinity bay to live and fish.he met a girl from southport named rachel martin.they married and settled in gooseberry cove around 1845.they had 8 children.harriet mary,ellen,sarah,joseph who married mary martha spurrell,teresa who died young,benjamin,theresa,and my grand father george who was born in 1867.i know some about joseph and george.i would like to have more information on my great grand father and his other children please.
