Looking for relatives of Alfred Barnes from Trouty, Trinity Bay. He was the son of Frederick and Eunice Barnes. He served on the HMS Patroclus with a relative of mine.
Regards

I have a John BARNES born 1815 (?) married Ann Allen in 1845 settled in Topsail, Conception Bay South.
He is the first Barnes recorded as living in Topsail but I have no information on him before then. Any chance there could be a connection?
Any info is greatly appreciated.
