Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

Hello, I would appreciate any info regarding my husband's Grandfather Roderick John Barrett who lived in Port au Port NL also once known as Gravels. I have reason to believe he died in 1911. Two NL census were taken in 1911 by 2 different people with conflicting info. I believe he may have been born in Holyrood NL in 1870 or immigrated from Ireland in 1890 per these census. He was married to Mary Marie White/Leblanc who was the daughter of Anthony Leblanc/White and Julienne/Julia Hynes. Also I can find no information about his daughter Elizabeth Barrett who was born in Port au Port in April of 1905/6.
