This isn't really much of a story, but my great grandmother was at one point the oldest woman in Newfoundland. Her name was Elizabeth Bradbury. Born Jan. 20 1898 and died Apr 17 2004 at 106.

Hi, was she a Bradbury by birth or by marriage? I hope she shared some wonderful family stories with you before she passed -- so much she would have known firsthand!
My grandmother was a Bradbury, born a few years later in 1904 but she died in 1986 -- unfortunately, several years before I ever thought to find out what stories she might have shared.

Hi, she was born a Churchill from Bay Roberts. She married John Bradbury from Coley's Point. And as far as any stories she may have shared, I was born in 2001 so I was only 3 when she died, so I remember her very vaguely. Though I have been told some stories.
