A recent DNA test of a male descendant of the Babb family from Newfoundland via Familytreedna has confirmed their descendancy from Philip Babb from England, born about 1634. Phillip lived in the area known as Isles of Shoal, Maine. Philip and his wife Mary were the parents of five sons. The Babb Family Association of the U.S. will be holding a reunion to meet and visit the Isles of Shoal and the surrounding area where the sons lived. The Reunion will be held from June 22 - 26 from Portsmouth, NH.
