Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

My grandparents were Patrick and Elizabeth(O'Brien) Lane.They were adopted from Belvedere Orphange by James and Anne Bingman of Fortune Harbour NDB.Patrick was 9yrs old and Elizabeth was 7. They grew up together like brother and sister and married in the early 1900's.They had 5 children one of which was my father.By the way she was born in Renews 1882 to Timothy and Mary(Bavis) O"Brien and he was born in Tilting 1878 to Patrick and Bridget(McCarthy) Lane.
