Hi! I am trying to find information about my grandmothers family. They lived in Burin. So far I have William Herbert Dancey born abt 1866, I believe he married Emily Stowbridge. According to my grandmothers notes Williams parents are Thomas Dancey and either Elizabeth Cox or Emily Churchwell. Thanks so much for your help!!!

Coindentally I JUST came from a website where this marriage record was on my screen. I looked at this post and about fell over.

I have Danceys in my family but they are from Ontario - they may have passed through Nova Scotia to get there though.

I am related to the Dancey family. William was was great grandfather's older brother. His mother was Emily Churchwell. I have more information on the family if you wish, please contact me at karendarby@nf.sympatico.ca
