Still looking but I'm amending my first post. I found Chester King - who was actually John Chester King, b 1882, son of Charles T and Jane Piercy King of Fortune.

However, I still cannot find any information about his wife. She was Jane Rideout or Ridout and supposedly died after childbirth. I was told she was born in Fortune. They had a daughter Hazel Elsie King born 14 Mar 1904 in Fortune. The Rideout/Ridout name doesn't seem particularly common to the Fortune area so I'm wondering if my information as to her place of birth is incorrect. I've looked everywhere on this site and there's no hint of her.

I really want to find her. It seems so sad that she lived and died without the slightest hint that she was on this earth.
