Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

I`m looking for info on these family names.I was told my great grandfather was Joseph Bartlett from Brigus married Catherine McCue from Cupids. I know my grandparents were Joseph Bartlett and Alicia Sweeney of Bell Island. I have been unable to find a marriage record for either couple.Alicia b.circa 1915-6? d 2005. Her parents were Edward Sweeney b June 1876 and Mary E. Chaytor b Sept 1881 m Jan 7 1901. Any help with these families would be greatly appreciated.
