Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

Hello I hope someone can help me on this - I am looking for info on 2 areas of land located in Brigus South on the southern shore - 1 parcel of land is located on a hillside down in the community overlooking the harbour with 1 old house standing and 1 shed/barn fallen down
The other is located in Timber Cove half a kilometer just south of Brigus South, along the beach there is a parcel of land with a small structure built there and fenced off, along the east coast trail - both are abandoned. If anyone has any information on these properties - who owns them, who lived there, when the structures were built, and any other info regarding the history of these spots and the people who lived there this would be greatly appreciated! I am looking to purchase property in this area to build a summer home for my family, Please point me in the right direction!
