The following marriage took place in Boston on 5 September 1897 by John T. O Brien PETER CORBIN, aged 24 years, son of Peter & Ellen Corbin of Newfoundland to JULIA MADDOX, aged 22 years, daughter of Patrick & Ellen Maddox of Newfoundland |

The marriage record was found at the Massachusetts State Archives. Julia Maddox apparently had siblings residing in Boston. Married 27 May 1894, Boston Walter Madix, aged 26 years, son of Patrick & Ellen Madix of Newfoundland to Catherine Walsh, aged 21 years, daughter of Robert & Elizabeth Walsh of Newfoundland Married 7 January 1900, Boston Patrick Maddicks, aged 22 years, son of Patrick Maddicks & Ellen Foley of Newfoundland to Mary Delaney, aged 21 years, daughter of John Delaney & Ellen Ryan of Newfoundland |
