In the obituary for her brother Israel Janes 1923 - 2010 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, his sister Beatrice was listed as Beatrice Mackley, predeceased. Beatrice was the daughter of Israel Janes sr. and Jessie. Israel and Jessie are in the 1911 Sydney census with children - Nathaniel, Walter, Llewellyn and Violet Mary.
I do not know the birth or death dates for Ralph or Beatrice, but she was most likely born between 1911 and 1925.
Any information on Ralph and Beatrice would be appreciated.

It shows Ralph Mackley and Beatrice Janes getting married in Nova Scotia 1943. Says he was 32 and Beatrice 28 . Nova Scotia Archives.

Thanks Doug for responding. I had searched unsuccessfully for the marriage or death of Ralph and Beatrice. Could you give me the link? Do you have any other data on them and are you related to the family? I have extensive information on the Janes family. as well as several others.

Nova Scotia Archives - County and Community Histories. Im not related to Janes. Also found 1931 census of canada that you can browse . Select Nova Scotia Cape Breton South Sub District 36 page 12 and you will see 635 Victoria Road Israel Janes Jessie and more of their children born after 1911. including Beatrice Janes born 1915.

Sub District should be Sydney 37 page 12 not 36
