I am British with some DNA connections to Newfoundland. I discovered that there is an area called St Barbe, and in Lymington, Hampshire there is a museum dedicated to St Barbe. Apparently he was a wealthy businessman who owned a salt mine and sent it to NFL.
I am thinking that my ancestor could be a Coll from Minstead in Hampshire which is just north of the port of Lymington. Is there anybody with Coll connections that might help me with my thought on this idea.
