Anna married Edwin Clarke of Charmouth, Dorset and St John's in the Brigus United Methodist Church on Sept. 28, 1877. They lived at 26 William St, St John's until Edwin died in 1911. Edwin's will left the house to "Anna".
Our family history has Samuel Clarke, “Anna/Hannah” and Edwin's youngest son (my grandfather), moving to Toronto around 1904, and staying with his uncle, Isaac at 41 Olive Ave. Since Edwin had no brother Isaac, this had to be “Anna/Hannah's” brother. But, Isaac's sister was named “Hannah”.
I am certain that Hannah and Anna are the same woman. But I would like some proof. A marriage record showing the bride's parents would be nice. A newspaper announcement, even an obituary.
All help will be appreciated.
