Hello All, New to this forum so bare with me. I am looking for information on a Mason family. A John Mason and wife Sarah came to the Carbonear area from Ireland in the 1700's John and sons William, James, Patrick and possible Peter were fishing on the banks during the American Revolutionary War when attacked. Their vessel was destroyed and they were taken prisoner. transported to Philadelphia.Mr Mason did not survive and possible the same for James. William survived and settled in Country Harbour Nova Scotia. If anyone can make this connection with their Mason's I would appreciate the info. Regards diggingdeep |
