I was born 7.21.69 - as Lisa Dawn Ball daughter to Phyllis Ball in Bishops Falls. I would have been conceived in sept or October of 1968. I was told my birth father was a bartender?? I had 1 sibling at the time Lives with my biological grandparents Josiah ball and Naomi ball. I believe that is the correct name. Looking for any information that might help. |

Hello, Your mother and family are on the 1945 Newfoundland census for Grand Falls. That census is transcribed on this site. Your mother Phyllis is listed as 1 year old at the time. Your grand parents names are Josiah and Mabel. They have 10 children including your mother and 1 grandchild, Daisy, living at home. Your mother's sisters would most likely have married and therefore changed surnames. One option would be to try connecting to one of your mother's brothers (your uncles) by phone.
