I am looking for documentation on the Indian status (birth, death, baptism, or marriage) of the surname PAUL in the Bonavista Bay area ( mainly of Deer Island and Bragg's Island). My maternal ancestry starts as follows: Sadie Paul (mother), her father - Kater Paul, his father -Josiah Paul, his father - John Paul, his father - either Thomas or William Paul who came to NL from NS. I am looking for a document (birth, death, baptism, or marriage) of either of these PAULS that shows the nationality (status) was MicMac or Indian. If you have, or know of such existing info, please contact me. Thank you
Carl Paul-Glover
