I am looking for information on John C. Buton b. Nov 4, 1875. He married Bessie P. Cole (b. 1877) in 1897. They immigrated to the United States (Massachusetts) around 1897. Their children were Clara L. b. 1899, Henry b. 1901, John Jr b. 1903, Mary b. 1906 in Carbonear, Newfoundland, immigrated to US in 1907, Mildred b. 1909 in Carbonear, Newfoundland, immigrated to US in 1909-10, Helen b. 1911, Margaret b. 1914, Harriett b. 1915, and Russell b. 1918. Since two of the children were born in Carbonear, I think John or Bessie may have had family in that area. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you, Eva |
