Looking for info on Michael Driscoll and Ann Champion. Michael died before 1837. He was married to Ann Champion and they had a child Agnes Driscole who is my Great Grandmother.Her baptism is found in the RC Church records of Northern Bay. Which leads me to believe that either or both Driscoll or Champion was RC. Looking for Michael's parents and Ann's parents. Agnes was raised at Lower Island Cove as that is where she met and married my GGRandfather William Thorne.on May 15,1857. Any help appreciated.

Hi, I don't have anything on Michael Driscoll or Ann Champion, but I do have a record of another DRISCOLL-CHAMPION marriage at Lower Island Cove- that I received from a researcher (I am not currently researching Driscolls or Champions, just came into this record when researching other lines)
-this is the marriage of Henry Champion (son of Joseph and Mary nee unknown Champion) to Catherine Driscoll on May 12, 1868 at Lower Island Cove...
Henry married second to Susannah nee PUDDESTER, possibly widow of a William Sellars WHEELER
That's all I have...

Thanks for that. I appreciate you replying with the info. I am now looking in the R.C. Records for Hr. Grace as it seems that is where the info for Lower Island Cove is located.

thanks...Does Catherine Driscoll relate to Michael Dirscoll and does Henry Champion relate to Ann Champion?

I've found the following Driscoll's for Lower Island Cove so far;
1. Oct. 23/1806 Martin Driscoll married Mary Low
2. March 2/1807 Bartholomy Driscoll married Winny Driscoll Costello
3. Jan. 8/1808 John Driscoll married Mary Collins
4. James Driscoll married Elisa Benson date unknown,
5. Sept 13/1822 Michael Driscoll married Ann Champion
6. Jan 16/1817 Bartholomiew Driscoll married Bridget Maher
In all I've found 28 children to the above Driscoll's at Lower Island Cove between 1806 and 1838.
I'm still looking for Michael's parents.

thanks...I guess you can add that one new marriage I had in there to help further your collection of Driscoll and Champion marriages at Lower Island Cove....
