Martin Billard, parents William Billard (1853-1930) and Elizabeth Thorne(1858-1933), born 16 July 1881, Burnt Islands, Burgeo.
Married, 30 April 1902, Channel, C of E, Rachel Bailey (1882-1907) Rachel died 18 Feb 1907, Channel.
Married, unknown (may have been Elizabeth J White (23)(S) who married a Martin Billard (26)(B) 10 March 1908, St John's, Methodist Church)

Martin Billard Next appears in the Nova Scotia Vital Statistics
Martin Billard (31)(W) married Sarah Valetta Spencer (25)(S) 14 Oct 1916, North Sydney, Presbyterian Church. They have a child, Valetta Victoria Billard, 02 June 1917, North Sydney, recorded as illegitimate as her father is a bigamist.

Martin disappears from the NSVS records

A Harry Martin Billard appears in NSVS records in 1920, death record says he was born 12 July 1880 Newfoundland.
Harry Martin Billard (37)(W) married Annie Ethael (Swinamer) Burrows (35)(W) 05 Feb 1920, Halifax, Baptist Church, his parents William Billard and Elizabeth Caines, his birth place recorded as St John's.
Harry Martin Billard died 20 Aug 1962, Halifax, parents names not recorded in NSVS record. obituary says he was born in Port aux Basques.

Someone on Ancestry has tied these two people together, but there are a lot of inconsistencies, can anyone shed a light on the situation.
