I'm looking for information on my great great grandfather. Eli Jarvis. I'd like to know where he is buried if at all. He is from Burin I think. He had 3 children, Elizabeth, Richard, and Maggie. According to the 1935 and '45 census, he was a cripple living with a family of Pike's in South Dildo. So he may have been buried there. However, according to my grandfather, he apparently lived in what they called the "Poor House" in St. John's. So he thinks he's buried in town. But I can't find any cemetery records of him in town or in Dildo. I'd also like to know what his wife's name was. He was a Methodist as well. If anyone in the Dildo area would be willing to check out all of the cemetery's for me that would be greatly appreciated. I say all because I'm not 100% sure he was a Methodist.
Thanks!

Another thing my grandfather said on the subject, Eli passed before pop was born. Pop was born in 1934. Eli's wife, Margaret, died in 1928 and was buried in Haystack. So he may be there as well with her.
