Patrick Dawley of Carbonear married Alice English of Job's Cove on 10 August 1834. I think this family eventually moved to Worcester, Massachusetts. The English family was intermarried with the Murphy family of Job's Cove. There was a David Murphy who married Catherine Connell on 28 September 1841. I am wondering if the Carbonear Murphys are a branch of the Job's Cove Murphys. The family immigrated from Tintern, Co. Wexford, in the late 1700s. |
