Hi Looking for descendents of the George family of Heart's Content. My Great Grandfather was William George, he married Edith Rockwood. Unknown who Williams parents are. Edith Rockwood's parents were Mark and Jane Rockwood. Can anyone help Lucinda George |

I was interested in this family a contact from Corner Brook told me that William George did have a sister and brother Noah. If this is correct then the following may be the Noah George and his mother Harriet she refers to. This is from the census in Hearts Content 1921 source NGB 138 138 GEORGE Harriet F Mother Widow 1843 Aug 78 Heart's Content. 138 138 GEORGE Noah M Head Married 1888 May 33 Heart's Content. 138 138 GEORGE Clara F Wife Married 1892 Dec 29 Winterton. 138 138 GEORGE Leah F Daughter Single 1916 Sep 5 Heart's Content. 138 138 GEORGE Gedeon M Son Single 1919 Nov 2 Heart's Content How are you connected? Hello I am trying to find the connections any Georges in Heart's Content. My GG Grandfather Henry (b. 1868) Sooley's Mother was Sara George. She was married to Robert Sooley. I am guessing they were married in 1867 or earlier. I am guessing she was born in mid 1840's. I would like to find any information on Robert Sooley and Sara George. I do not have their birth, marriage or death information. I only know of their names. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Eric |
