| Post subject: | Charles Perry of Exploits |
I'm looking for info on Charles Perry of Exploits. He was supposedly born at sea off Ireland in 1807 and the first port-of-call was Cork, Ireland (all heresay, no documented proof). A few questions I have include: Did his parents (names unknown) stay in Ireland or return to their homeland after his birth? When did he emigrate to Newfoundland and did he have siblings that may have emigrated with him? Where did his wife Esther come from? Did they marry overseas or in Newfoundland? Are they buried at Exploits? In my research I found they had at least seven children, all born at Exploits, and born from 1838 until 1858.
