I'm hoping someone can help me figure this one out. I see that Patrick Hartwell married Mary Doyle in Tors Cove on 30 Apr 1893. Patrick passed away (don't know when), before Mary (widow) married Henry Lash (widower) on 27 Apr 1898. Does anyone know who Henry was married to prior to Mary? In the 1921 Census for Witless Bay - Northside, there is the family of Henry and Mary. But, it has a stepdaughter Ann who was born abt Jul 1887 married to Patrick Carter, which is before both of the marriages. Does any one now who Ann's parents were? Was she adopted by Patrick and Mary? Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Chris |
