| Post subject: | Norwegian sailor Tore Martin Odson b.1867 |
I am looking for a marriage record for the Norwegian sailor, Tore/Thor Martin Odson/Oddsen, born on 27 March 1867 in Nedstrand parish, Rogaland County, Norway. A record from his home town dated 9 April 1903, claims that he was married in St. John's Newfoundland, but I have not been able to verify this information. This marriage was dissolved before 1908, when Tore Martin remarried in Norway. He would be of Lutheran faith, and my guess is that his marriage would have been between 1895 and 1903, possibly earlier. I am grateful for all help. Matthias |
