Hi Everyone,

Researching the COLLINS line and specifically Thomas Collins (1883-1949).

Found him in the Newfoundland 1921 Census (St. John's West) - MOUNT PEARL (Includes:)
Asylumn Rd, Lunitic Rd and Pearl Town (http://ngb.chebucto.org/C1921/21-Pg-628 ... -sjw.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

81 87 COLLINS Thomas M Head Married 1883 Sept 38 Asylumn Road

First question, where was Asylumn Road? And what would it be named today?

Second, anyone with Thomas Collins (1883-1949) in your tree I would love to hear from you.

Thanks in advance! :)
Sherrie

Hi, Sherrie, my father's cousin, Olive Pearl Taylor (1920-2013), married a man named Tom Collins (around the same age, thus born around 1920). I know almost nothing about him, but I believe he was from St. John's. Olive was born in St. John's . Could this Thomas be descended from you Thomas Collins? He and Olive lived in Scarborough, Ontario for many years.

Graham
