This is some of the information I have on file for the family of John Colbourne and Lydia Clarke of Twillingate. The Samuel Colbourne mentioned here, is the same Samuel Colbourne you referenced, I believe.

I have photographs of headstone markers for some of the family members mentioned here.

"John Colbourne was reputedly born on February 12, 1782, son of John and Elizabeth Colbourne.
Lydia (Clarke) Colbourne is named in the Will of her mother, Ann Clarke, of Twillingate, dated February 19, 1833.
John Colbourne is named as an executor in the Will of Ann Clarke of Twillingate, dated February 19, 1833.
John Colbourne was named as an executor in the Will of Samuel Woolfrey of Moretons Harbour, dated October 27, 1842.
John Colbourne was named as an executor in the Will of Thomas Maximilian Lyte of Twillingate, dated November 5, 1847.
John Colbourne died on July 28, 1858, at Twillingate, and was buried in an old cemetery at Old House Cove, on the Twillingate North Island.
Lydia (Clarke) Colbourne died on August 7, 1863, age 72 yrs., and was buried in the same cemetery.
The Will of John Colbourne dated May 7, 1857, and probated on September 4, 1858, names his wife, Lydia; his sons, John Colbourne Jr., Samuel Colbourne, Robert Colbourne, Josiah Colbourne, and James Colbourne; and his daughters, Harriett Roberts, Mary Stone, Elizabeth Baird, Ann Edmonds, and Fanny Blandford."
