I'm looking for any reference to the names Lawrence Redmond & Catherine Driscoll. He would be my great grandfather. They were married in Nfld.c.1874. Catherine gave birth to a Michael Redmond c.Dec. 1874 . Catherine either died in childbirth or shortly after. Michael was raised by his father Lawrence and his wife's sister Monica. Michael was an only child . Michael left Nfld around the age of 14 as a stowaway. I was told that Lawrence Redmond was a tailor at 7 St.James St. ,St John's. and he was born in Ireland. I am now getting desperate for any info. I'm going to visit Ireland shortly and need some info ..... anything ... June 2013
