Hello, I am trying to trace my family as far back as I can. I am stuck on my great grandfather Herbert PIKE, of Carbonear, born March 1858. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I am not sure if you are still researching Herbert Pike but I do have some information that looks like it matches this person. The following is from the 1921 census of NFLD. It represents him and his household members at the time.
Herbert Pike (M) head, married Mar 1858 age 63, Carbonear
Laura Pike (F) wife, married Jul 1863 age 58, Carbonear
Hubert Pike (M) son, single, Oct 1889, age 28, age 32, Carbonear
Augustus Pike (M) son single, Aug 1893, age 28, Carbonear
Nellie Pike (F) daughter, single, Jan 1899, age 22, Carbonear
William Pike (M) son, single, Sep 1901, 20, Carbonear
I do have some PIKES in my tree because my great great grandmother was Blanche Pike
(1876-1953) died in Freshwater, Carbonear, NFLD but I haven't come across Herbert.
