I am looking for any information and/or descendants of the Walsh family listed in the 1921 census as living in the Port de Grave district "South Side" area. Patrick Walsh, b 1853, and sons William J. Walsh b 1896, and Peter F. Walsh, b 1898. Where is the South Side? A previous source says that William J. Walsh was born in Brigus. Thank you. Mary Alice Yost

Not sure if this relevant but I have a Patrick Walsh listed as an Able Seaman, aged 22 of St. John's on board the ship "Clara" travelling from the port of Onehunga, New Zealand to Sydney, New South Wales Australia on 4 Spet 1865. The Clara had arrived in Onehunga, New Zealand on 30 June 1865 after leaving St. John's on 24 Dec 1864.
