I am searching for any info on the army barracks where the 39th British Regiment ,the Dorsetshire Foot regiment, was housed in Nfd in the 1850=1860's, as my ancestor, James John Creamer was a Private in this army and was posted to Nfd sometime after 1852 and up to 1869.Are there any records of births/deaths at sea?James died in 1969 and we believe it
may have been in the army while in Nfd.I am also seeking info on 3 sons who died at sea belonging to James and his wife Maria, nee Gilthorp, born between 1866 and 1869 or before 1863(from 1852-1863).Thanks for any snippet.Aly
