I'm looking for any information that anyone may have on a John BOWN originally from Boyd's Cove, NL. This may be the same John BOWN listed in the 1921 census for Boyd's Cove, living with grandparents John and Elizabeth FREAKE. It is believed that John BOWN married Bessie FREAKE and they both died about 1935. They had at least two sons: Rev. Samuel BOWN and Isaac BOWN. John was also known as "Foxy John BOWN". |
